WYOMING SKI REPORT

March 31 2025

Wyoming is seeing significant snowfall accumulation in several mountain regions. The heaviest new snowfall in the past 24 hours was recorded at Cold Springs SNOTEL near the Wind River Range with 156 inches, followed by Laprele Creek (176") and Two Ocean Plateau (110"). These totals are anomalous and may include snow drift or sensor error, but still indicate substantial accumulation. More moderate but reliable reports come from Kirwin (10"), Bear Trap Meadow (5"), and Little Snake River (5"). Grand Targhee Resort, near Alta, received 4" today with 11" forecasted over the next five days, maintaining a snowpack depth of 106", making it a top choice for powder seekers.

Looking ahead, the Bighorn Mountains are also promising, with Cloud Peak Reservoir, Soldier Park, and Hansen Sawmill each forecasting 18–19" in the next five days. This benefits nearby resorts like Antelope Butte. The Snowy Range near Med Bow and Sand Lake is expecting 11–12", with base depths exceeding 100", making Snowy Range Ski Area near Centennial a great destination. Snake River Station and Grassy Lake, near Yellowstone and Jackson, are also forecasting 14–16", potentially impacting Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and enhancing conditions across Teton County. Overall, Grand Targhee, Snowy Range, and areas near the Bighorns are the top picks this weekend for fresh snow and deep base.
